Michigan Defeats Maryland 38-7

The Michigan Wolverines defeated the Maryland Terrapins 38-7 yesterday in College Park. The Wolverines improve to 7-2 on the season and 4-2 in Big Ten Play. 

The Game started off with a bang as Giles Jackson returned the opening kickoff for 97 yards to give Michigan an early 7-0 lead. Michigan then went down the field and did it again as Zach Charbonett scored a touchdown to give Michigan a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. 

Michigan then scored another touchdown in the second half to make it a 21-0 lead at halftime. 2 more touchdowns were scored in the third quarter to make it a 35-0 Michigan lead. The Wolverines cruised to a 38-7 win over the Terrapins in College Park. The Wolverines have won every matchup with Maryland since 2015. 

Michigan will play Rival Michigan State in two weeks from the Big House. The Wolverines are on a bye next week.
