Rossford Football Player Profile: Kyle Kromenacker

Kyle Kromenacker is a senior this year at Rossford and is very excited to start the season after suffering an injury last season. “The excitement builds up between the school and the community. It is far greater than anything I’ve ever been apart of, and that’s what fuels my excitement,” Kromenacker said.

Kromenacker has grown a lot over the last year as a quarterback. He has made significant strides this offseason while also recovering from an injury. “All of the substantial growth that I’ve done throughout my high school career is traced back to phenomenal coaching. Without the relentless hard work from the coaches and myself, I wouldn’t be where I am today as a varsity quarterback,” Kromenacker commented.

Kromenacker has grown a lot as a football player and says he has made significant improvements over the years as an overall player and person. “I would describe myself as a dedicated student-athlete that would do anything to win. I can lead by example and utilize my football experience to better prepare up and coming athletes,” Kromenacker mentioned.

Kromenacker can’t believe that he is a senior this year and says he wants to enjoy his senior season. “I can’t believe that this is my senior year of football. High school has flown by, but the urge to begin my senior season and step onto that field is exciting. I know that everyone’s counting on me to do the best I can as a senior and to lead the team. This has been a dream of mine for a long time,” Kromenacker added.

Kromenacker has a lot of goals heading into this year, but one of his biggest personal goals is to stay injury-free. “My personal goal is to stay healthy long enough to lead our team to the playoffs. The truth behind my personal goal is that I haven’t had a completely healthy season in football, baseball, or basketball since 5th grade,” Kromenacker said.

As far as the team goals, Kromenacker says that Rossford has a lot of talent to have a tremendous season this year and expects big things out of the Bulldogs. “As far as the team goal, I see so much talent to my left and my right when I’m out on that field. Our linemen are determined to beat the man across from them every single play. We have all the tools to be very successful on the offense and defense this year,” Kromenacker stated.
