After going all the way to the state finals last year, The Chelsea Bulldogs are ready to get back on the field after making it all the way to the state finals last season.
To head back to the state finals again, the Bulldogs will have to replace some key guys on last year’s team including Quinn Starkey and Hunter Neff. Some of the players to watch for the Bulldogs are SR QB Kyle Knight, SR WR/P Ross Stofflet, SR DT Josiah Fitch, JR FS Joe Taylor, SR DE Daniel Golding SR WR Mitch Renyolds and SR MLB Sam Michael.
Quote from Coach Lucas: We are trying to build off last year’s momentum. Being Year 1 there was a learning curve for some of the guys and we finally got that going in the playoffs. We wish the Edwardsburg Game had a different outcome but we are continuing to build that every day.
Chelsea starts on the road at Dexter, their biggest rival before opening at home Week 2 against Pinckney.
