The Michigan Women’s Lacrosse Team continued their hot streak as the Wolverines defeated the Cincinnati Bearcats 19-9. The game was moved to Monday morning at the Legacy Center in Brighton, Michigan due to cold temperatures in Michigan.
Michigan did not get off to a good start in the first half as they were down 5-4 at halftime. The Wolverines came out in the second half on fire as they scored fifteen goals in the second half alone.
The Wolverines were led by Maggie Kane who had a career-high five goals against Cinnancatti. Lilly Grass also had five goals for the Wolverines, and Caitlin Muir had four goals today for the Wolverines. Michigan’s Mira Shane stopped 13 shots in the win. Michigan also outshot the Bearcats 38-30. The Wolverines are now 7-0 and tied for the best start in school history.
