Michigan vs Penn State Basketball Preview

Michigan Men’s basketball team will be visiting State College Tuesday night to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions. The first place Wolverines defeated the Nittany Lions in the first game January in Ann Arbor 65-55 and it has been a tale of two outcomes. Michigan has only lost two games since that game and is ranked 7th in the country while Penn State has only one victory in the Big Ten this year with an overall record of 8-15 this year.

Michigan will look to not fall prey to the Nittany Lions as they are playing away from Crisler and they do not want to lose the one game advantage over Purdue in the Big Ten looking forward to the huge Saturday game with Maryland. For the Nittany Lions, they have nothing to lose coming off a well-played game 74-70 loss to Ohio State. Josh Reaves leads the Lions and needs more support on the court from junior Lamar Stevens who has not been scoring for the Nittany Lions.

Look for Michigan to come into this game similar to the Rutgers victory to play smart, play a defensive game and have success on turnovers of Penn State and get home for Saturday’s game against Maryland. The Penn State Michigan game will show on the Big Ten Network at 8;30. Michigan leads the all-time win mark against Penn State 35-12 in Basketball.
