After 2 Rounds of the opening event in the 2020 PGA Champions Tour Season. Woody Austin takes the outright lead at eleven under at the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai. Bernhard Langer is just one stroke back at ten under.
Austin shot a 68 with 5 birdies and 1 Bogey on the day in the second round including a critical birdie at 18. He shot a 64 yesterday.
Bernhard Langer didn’t have the best round on Friday. After shooting 5 birdies in the front 9 on Thursday, He didn’t have any birdies on Friday on the front 9. He did come back on the back 9 as he hit 3 birdies and no bogeys to remain one shot back before the final round.
Fred Couples and Miguel Angel Jiminez are two strokes back at -9 under. Paul Broadhurst, Scott McCarron, and Marco Dawson are at -8 under. Ernie Els, Wes Short Jr, John Daly, and Ken Tanigawa are at -7
