ARCA: Michael Self wins season Opening Race at Daytona

The 2020 ARCA Menards Season kicked off their season at Daytona as Michael Self who drove the number 25 Sinclair Toyota for Venturini Motorsports took his second win at the Daytona International Speedway. 

Michael Self led a total of 60 laps today of the Scheduled 80 laps today and showed that the championship will have to go through the 25 team. 

Hallie Deegan also had an impressive run as she was making her ARCA Menards Series debut at Daytona as she came home second for DGR Crosley. Deegan tied the record for the best ARCA finish by a Female. 

Venturini Motorsports’s Drew Dollar came home third on the day in his first race for the team. Sean Corr finished 4th and Thad Moffitt who is the Grandson of Richard Petty finished fifth. 

The Next race for the ARCA Menards Series is March 6th at Phoenix Raceway as it will be the first race of the Sioux Chief Showdown where anyone at any age can compete at.
