Overall, Head Coach Mark Rosen was pleased with his team’s effort despite playing against a different style of team than they are used to in the Big Ten. “We definitely had to adjust to that different type of play,” said Rosen. “That is not what we usually see in the Big Ten so it’s not going to be perfect, but we played well tonight. I thought we were very balanced tonight and when we are balanced we play well,” Rosen continued. Mark Rosen was also impressed with how Michigan responded being down to Rutgers in the second set and besides that, took control of the set and the rest of the game.
