LACROSSE: Brother Rice wins Lacrosse State Title

 

 

The Brother Rice Warriors defeat the Detroit Catholic Central Shamrocks 14-13 to take the Division 1 Lacrosse State Title for the 14th time in school history. It was their 25th title overall with the first 9 titles coming before Lacrosse was a MHSAA Satuationed Sport.

 

Brother Rice scored the game-winning goal with one second left to go in the game when Justin Glod scored to give Rice the win. Glod had a total of 4 goals today.

 

It was a total team effort for Rice today as multiple players contributed on the score sheet today as Justin Glod had a total of four goals on the day. Air Force Lacrosse Commit Patrick O’Hara had 4 goals and Junior DJ Dixon had 4 goals as well in the win.

 

Catholic Central’s Joey Kamish had 4 goals on the day for the Shamrocks. Ryan Birney also had 4 goals for the Shamrocks as well.
