Michigan Defeats Iowa 10-3

It wasn’t perfect but the Michigan Wolverines defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes 10-3 on homecoming at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.

The scoring started when Jake Moody kicked a 28 yd field goal to put the Wolverines up 3-0 early on in the first quarter. Zach Charbonnet then scored late to make it a 10-3 Michigan lead in the first quarter. Iowa made a field goal to make it 10-3 and that would be your final.

It was a dominating day for the Michigan Defense as they had 8 sacks on the day the most sacks since the 2016 game against Ohio State. Khaleke Hudson stood on the day with 11 tackles on the night.

Michigan Quarterback Shea Patterson didn’t have his best day but it was good enough to get the win as he was 14 for 26 for 147 yards, 0 touchdowns, and 1 interception.

The Wolverines will take on Illinois next Saturday at Noon.
