BASKETBALL: Michigan Defeats Saginaw Valley State 82-51

The Michigan Wolverines took care of Saginaw Valley State 82-51 in an exhibition on Friday Night. It was also the first time that Juwan Howard was on the sidelines as the Michigan Men’s Basketball Coach. 

Michigan Pulled away early this one scoring making it a 10 point game with 15:44 left in the first half. They were then up 17-6 with 14:29 Left in the half. At The End of the Half, The Wolverines led 41-29 at the end of the half. Isaiah Livers led the way with 10 points.  

The Second Half was better as the Wolverines were up by Double Digits throughout the Second Half of the basketball game. The Wolverines cruised and pulled away and won 82-51 over Saginaw Valley State. 

Isaiah Livers led the way for the Wolverines with 20 points and was 7 for 11 from field goal range. Good Performance from Eli Brooks who had 13 points and was a perfect 10 for 10 from the free-throw line. Brandon Johns had 12 points on the night for the Wolverines. 

The Wolverines will host Appalachian State on Tuesday, November 5th. The Game will tip at 7 on BTN.
