Detroit Catholic Central Soccer Preview

Earlier this week, Great Lakes Post’s Casey Campbell spoke with Detroit Catholic Central Soccer Coach Gene Pulice to preview the upcoming season.

How ready are you to start this season?

Pulice: We have a great group of very excited guys, we have a superior level of fitness, and will be entering the season at full stride.

Who are some of your top returners?

Pulice: Captains Shane Knechtges, Clay Moscovic, Ben Kirouac, Nick Johnson, and William McLaren.

How do you think the Catholic League will fair in soccer?

Pulice: The Catholic League is alway tough; I don’t expect it to be any different this year. The Shamrocks have won the Catholic League 3 years running now, so we have very high exceptions.

What is your outlook on this season?

Pulice: We enter the season without expectations that way, there is no fear or disappointment in our head. It can only get better from there.
